Stem: climbing, up to 3 m.

​Flowers:  2.5 cm with 4 petal-like sepals, arranged in clusters.
  
Male and female flowers on separate vines.  





Fruit: an aggregate of achenes 3-5 mm long with 2-4-cm feathery styles.
