Profusely branched flower cluster.

Flower head: 2-5 mm consisting of tiny white ray florets surrounding yellow disk florests. Flower head is often hidden by longer phyllaries (green bracts).

​Fruit: Tiny 1-seeded with numerous bristles, dispersed by wind.
