​Flower cluster: Dense flat-topped, up to 15 cm. 

Flower head: Up to 1 cm composed of yellow disk florets surrounded by rows of pearly white papery bracts.

Male and female flowers grow on separate plants.

​Common name refers to the fact that they do well as dried flowers.
